Silvio De Ponte

An architect and lighting designer, he is the founder of De Ponte Studio Architects. He graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence and worked for several years in theater as a set designer. In 1987, he attended the Domus Academy in Milan where he obtained a Master’s degree in Urban Scenography. From 1990 to 1994, he worked with Pierluigi Cerri at Gregotti Associati in Milan. He conducts research on the relationship between light, touch, color, and material, aiming to define new scenarios for living spaces, from interior design to industrial products. Following a concept of Global Design, he designs Public Works, Theaters, Hotels, Offices, Showrooms, Trade Fair Stands and Events, Residences, Product Design, and Corporate Identity.
